Carving on the Edge Festival 2016$25,000 Award
To support the 2016 Carving on the Edge Festival featuring First Nations carvers from BC’s west coast in collaboration with the Raincoast Education Society. This unique festival brings together the teachings and experiences of career master carvers who wish to pass on a lifetime of knowledge, study and skill.
The Electronic Music Festival 2017$25,000 Award
To support the EMUSE Aboriginal Electronic Music Festival 2017 which was a collaboration among the Native Education College, the Vancouver New Music Society and the Warriors Against Violence Society.
King Arthur’s Night$25,000 Award
To assist with the development and production of a play, King Arthur’s Night, by the Neworld Theatre Society in collaboration with the Down Syndrome Research Foundation. The production features an equally integrated cast of actors whose lives include Down Syndrome and actors whose lives do not.
